Was the SonarQube service started but not started?

I'm currently trying to install SonarQube. Following the instructions on their page, I came up with instructions for running InstallNTService.bat and StartNTService.bat .

Similar to the https://stackoverflow.com/a/3126648/168328/2128648 , he says

wrapper | Starting the SonarQube service...
wrapper | The SonarQube service was launched, but failed to start.

The error log file says:

The SonarQube service was launched, but failed to start.

<-- Wrapper Stopped
The SonarQube service was launched, but failed to start.

And I do not know why this is failing.

  • I launched the application as admin
  • I have installed 64-bit version of Windows and Java.
  • wrapper.dll is in its place

Thank you in advance!

EDIT:

This page describes a solution to a problem that I can’t use as a drop-down menu; right-clicking on this service is not available.

I came across the same error. My solution was to verify that the java x64 JDK was installed - and the problem went away.

I ran into the same problem, and it was solved after completing all of the above points, i.e. a. Verify that the service is running when you log in to the administrator b. JDK installs using admin login
