Xcode does not measure GPU usage with SpriteKit

I launched the Xcode template project for SpriteKit (spinning airplane) on iPhone 6. To my great surprise, Xcode did not report using a GPU, while I had 800 sprite nodes on the screen, and FPS decreased from 60 to 30, I thought SpriteKit used the GPU to render it. Is it Xcode or is it me and my lack of knowledge?
