Well, that's why many people posted a similar question, however I seem to be unable to find a solution to my problem in any of them. So this is my situation.
Yesterday I worked with SQL Server Express through SQL Server Management Studio. I close my projects, as I did several times earlier, and then this morning, when I tried to connect again using the tool, this gives me this error:
TITLE: server connection
Unable to connect. \ SQLExpress.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
When connecting to SQL Server, a network-related or instance-specific error occurred.
The server was not found or was not available. Verify the instance name is correct and configure SQL Server to connect remotely. (provider: SQL network interfaces, error: 26 - server / instance location error) (Microsoft SQL Server, error: -1)
I think my main question is here if there is a solution to this problem or do I need to install SQL Server Express again?
PS: Here are some system statistics. I am working on a Windows 10 machine and the version of SQL Server Management Studio is 2014.
