Javascript file embedded in Disqus ("alfie.f51946af45e0b561c60f768335c9eb79.js") and redirects its code

I just noticed that this JavaScript file is embedded in many pages of my site where Disqus comments are allowed.

Any idea what is his purpose?

I found out that it automatically adds a click event listener to each link (both internal and external links), and the click event does some redirection. This was not a serious problem until I realized that the redirection affected many links to the external website that I have on my website, and all of them got to the main page.

It is not a matter of creating my URL to an external website in href or parameters, since copying pasting the URL directly into the browser (without redirecting) works fine.

Is it a Disqus feature for tracking, or something that can be customized?

Thanks for the advanced.

This "Affiliate Links" option is enabled in Disqus Setup> Advanced.
