How to hide the black menu bar in the preview of Android studio design?

I am new to Android development. I want to hide the black menu bar that appears at the bottom of the screen. I want to hide this because it hides content that aligns to the bottom of the screen in the preview window. Hopefully the following picture will show what I mean.

You can change the virtual device to display a different layout. If you like to have a device without a softkey button. You need to add your own "new device definition" to the "New Hardware Profile".
