Prior to El Capitan, I was able to turn off the functionality of smart text on Mac notes by unchecking the boxes with smart features that I didn't like. eg:
It doesn't seem to matter anymore. I disabled Smart Dashes, but still Notes creates a list item whenever I type '-'.
This is mistake? Can I, and if so, how can I turn off the creation of an auto-list when I type "-"?
