Is it possible to install unsigned firmware on iOS devices?

I wanted to install firmware 9.0.2 on my devices, but it is no longer signed by Apple, so I can’t install firmware below 9.1.

Is there any way around this?

No Apple has keys to software that they sign and do not sign, which means that only Apple developers with keys can downgrade! And if you do not have keys, then no, this is impossible (:
