I created several reports with Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder, and I'm trying to add a logo image to the top of the report. The report is still working, and I managed to add a logo.
The problem is that the logo does not appear after exporting to Excel.
What I tried so far (the image is embedded, not from the database or external):
Set a background image for the entire report and use different BackgroundRepeat settings. Result: the clip worked well while displayed in a web browser, but when exporting to Excel, the image was repeated using x and y.
I tried to manually edit the RDL and set the BackgroundRepeat to "NoRepeat" for the background image. Result: The report could not be loaded due to an invalid BackgroundRepeat value.
- I created an additional text file for the image and just added a space to make the field appear. Result: it works fine in the browser, an empty cell in Excel (I read that Excel cannot display images in cells).
- I created a title in the report builder and added a logo there. Result: again useful in the browser, empty cells when exporting to Excel.
I hope someone can help me with this problem. I just want the logo to be somewhere on the top (preferably in the upper left above the table), only once (not repeating) and both to display the report in the browser and to export excel.
