Collapsed Regions in Visual Studio

Question

I am working on Visual Studio extension and contains an editor field that shows a comment for each line of code and data associated with the line number.

When I have code that crashes regions (functions, code blocks or regions), I get the wrong line numbers.

How to calculate which lines crashed? Or, more simply put, how can I expand all collapsed blocks and turn off collapse buttons?
