How to open an iOS application from within the extension?

My application is registered for URL schemes:

But I do not know how to open this application, since I can not use it UIApplication.sharedApplication()in the extension. Is it possible at all?

Apple documentation says:

Today, a widget (and another type of application extension) may ask the system to open its application by calling a openURL:completionHandler:class method NSExtensionContext.
