I have Cyanogen Mod on LG2 installed without Gapps. I only use Opensource software - I accept the Slack App, which I restored from backup
The Slack App works fine, but always asks to install Google Play Services. I just ignore it and it works.
It would be possible to fake / fake the Google Play API in some way, so that whenever Slack asks "Have Google Play services installed," the Fake API will return true.
I am not an Android developer. I know Java and Linux, so I need to solve this small problem.
