GCC Building: *** [all] Error 2

Question

I am trying to set up a cross compiler for i686-elf on Ubuntu , following the OSDev GCC Cross-Compiler Tutuorial. However, the code to configure GCC cannot be generated each time. I know that my sources are not outdated, because I'd sudo apt-get updatebefore doing anything.

To get the packages I need, I did:

sudo apt-get install g++
sudo apt-get install make
sudo apt-get install bison
sudo apt-get install flex
sudo apt-get install libgmp3-dev
sudo apt-get install libmpfr-dev libmpfr-doc libmpfr4 libmpfr4-dbg
sudo apt-get install mpc
sudo apt-get install texinfo
sudo apt-get install libcloog-isl-dev

I think there are no problems with this method?

Then with gcc-5.2.0 and binutils-2.25.1 (in ubuntu bintuils doesn't seem to work with anything above this old version), I installed binutils just fine. I went to build gcc, but when I typed the code, I got the following error:
