I am trying to implement one of the suggestions given by our stackoverflow member here Write, exit and exceptions for methods in java using aspects . Since this is another question in itself, posting here again.
I tried to search, but it seems that different versions have different ways to do this and cannot find an example on the Internet. I tried the following simple example, since I am new to aspect-oriented programming and could not figure out how to implement it. This example throws NPE. Please help me understand where I am doing this wrong.
