The image of a raster rocket disappears

I recently changed from launcher images to the launcher's storyboard. I debugged the application on my phone and everything looked great. I made some changes to other areas of the application code, updated the build number and installed a new version, but now the image on this storyboard is missing and just appears as black. Any ideas as to why the image will disappear when I haven't made any changes to this storyboard? The image is still in the project, and I checked the source code for the storyboard, and it is also printed correctly. Everything works on a simulator.

I experienced the same thing. Try removing the ".png" extensions on images in the interface designer. This made them disappear in the designer, but they appeared in the app!
