What is an easy way to tab over many superscripts?

I know that I can dial x\^nand tabto receive xⁿ.

But how can I easily enter xᵃ⁺¹without doing x\^a tab \^+ tab \^1 tab.

I tried using brackets, this will not work.

There is currently no shortcut for expanding extended superscripts or subscripts latexby expanding tabs. Julia does not actually interpret latexwhat you write during the tab - all characters are hardcoded in the Julia source as matching from simple latexto unicode (you can find them all here ). A better approach might be to define some keyboard shortcuts for writing Unicode / add-ons directly.
