Unable to connect my Nexus5 to OSx Yosemite

Question

I cannot connect my Nexus 5 (Marshmallow) to my MacBookPro (OSx Yosemite). This is what I tried:

• Install Android File Transfer
• Change USB cable
• Activate the "USB Debug" option in the developer menu
• Connect as an MTP device and / or PTP

None of the above work. If I run the command system_profiler SPUSBDataTypefrom the shell, I see that the USB device is not connected. He, like my Mac, does not even see the device. The only thing he does is recharge the phone. Thank you for your help.
