How does the rear end and front end work?

I found out how to program in php a few years ago, but I realized that I was so deprecated, but now I am updating. I am working with Laravel now, but only in the end, so I just found out the MVC model and all that.

Me and my friend (who is the interface designer), we want to work together on a website using Laravel. so my question is: how does this work ?, a few questions to throw out:

  • Are we both connecting to the same server and working there?
  • How do we work together? does he just care about the views folder and what is it?
  • Did he tell me the variables he needed? for views?

As you can see, I don’t know how the team comes together.

just out of curiosity .. how do you know this? Is there a working method for this?

No, you do not need to work on the same server during development, but both of you must work on the same code base. Don’t worry, you can use Git, SVN or others to easily work on the same code base on different computers. Finally, you will have one code base that will be ready for deployment to online hosting.

The following are two simple guides on using Git as a version control system:

Git - The Simplest Guide

CodeSchool - Try Git

What is a version control system?
