Xcode7 What is Overhead for an Energy Profiling Meter?

I am checking the energy profiling of an application that loads a lot of content into a web view. I was met as follows. I see that the energy hit is high, and there is constantly high overhead (54% on the screen shot).

What is the meaning of the “laid on stat” for measuring energy?

Turns out I had to scroll down, as expected, the overhead is the cost of maintaining the radio / Wi-Fi for network requests.
