Bitbucket promotes tag branch as lead

Question

I use a bit baget (I love it), and I have this situation: there is a branch called the “master”, and I want to turn the function branch (400 forward of the wizard) into a master, in order to deal with the union.
for simplicity, I thought about renaming the function branch to "release" and deleting the wizard.

My question is whether it is possible to remove the main branch, but still look at its source in the future. (for example, in a basket ..)

If not, is there a way to rename the wizard to "master-2015-09" or so?
