Pentaho Report Designer PDF Export Does Not Show Japanese Characters

I created a report using Pentaho Report Designer 3.9.1 and contains Japanese characters. When I try to export a report to PDF, I do not get Japanese characters in PDF format. Instead of Japanese characters, it appears as empty in the PDF.

When I try to export to Excel, Japanese characters are displayed.

It is known that JDK embedded fonts are mapped to embedded fonts (SANS-SERIF, SERIF, or any other embedded font) of the PDF standard, and that these fonts do not support anything other than Western European languages.
