How to sanitize input in web api using ant xss attack

Below is a snippet of my code

Model class

I want to sanitize the value in the Name field of the Model class, as shown below

When I call the above method of the class class of the Post class, as shown below, it gives a call to the "Post" method of the controller class, as expected. But it does not call the "BindProperty" method in my "CutstomModelBinder" class.
