Insert a row into a Google spreadsheet: empty rows cannot be written; use delete instead

Question

I cannot add a row to an existing table. I try the steps from here: https://developers.google.com/google-apps/spreadsheets/data The following line throws an exception below:

row = service.insert(listFeedUrl, row);

An exception:

Brief history: the above example is very similar to the code in the application that I need to fix, and the application worked several times ago. I was able to pass OAuth2 authentication.
