IOS app rejected - metadata rejected

Recently, I introduced the third application to the application store - I was never offered a video to demonstrate the functionality of the application. Is this a new requirement? Also, would it be enough to record the functionality of the application in Quicktime (connected to my device) to satisfy this requirement?

I am sure that they receive thousands of applications, but I even presented an intro-tutorial about the application, which will be faster than watching a full demo video. Smh

We started reviewing your application, but cannot continue, because we need access to the video that demonstrates your application used on the iOS device.

You can use Quicktime to record your screen. On my team, we recorded a video to preview the video using Quicktime, and it's accepted. You can also find more information here . And video is required because it provides information to the user about your application, and Apple says that “viewing the application can help customers better understand your application and encourage more downloads.”

What the Apple team asks for during the review process may be something simpler than video to preview the application. They just want the video to show the application, and it will not be used as a preview of the application in the store.
