Is there a way to ensure (on the server ) the maximum number of children for a Firebase node? The only answers I saw were hacks and workarounds .
In my case of use, each child who has absolutely must have a unique identifier, so I can not use the ring buffer or any other approach that involves "cheating" with the number keys. Checking on the client side is not enough - never trust the client!
If this is not possible, it seems that a very important function is missing!
