How to distribute and install an iOS application under development on test devices?

I am new to iOS app development. I have a standard Apple iOS developer license. When I create my application, it creates a file ipa. If I send this file to someone, can they install it? Or does it require an enterprise license?

You can share the archive ipawith testers / friends using Ad Hoc Distribution . For this you do not need a corporate license, just a team or person. You will need to register the device identifier with the Member Center and generate a special Ad Hoc provisioning profile using this identifier:
