So, I installed anaconda with python 2.7 and installed all the requirements for the Caffe library. I'm sure opencv is installed
import cv2
And check that I can run a few examples from the docs.
Now I load caffe, configured makefile.config correctly and run make all. I get a very strange error:
make

What happened to this guy? Note that I originally had anaconda3 and compiled caffe for it, but successfully, but I ran into a lot of problems with caffe under python3, so I had to remove it and try to configure it for anaconda using python 2.7.
And, of course, I made sure libpng16.so.16 is in the anaconda:
maxkhk@maxkhk-X550DP:~/anaconda$ find -name libpng16.so.16
./pkgs/libpng-1.6.17-0/lib/libpng16.so.16
./lib/libpng16.so.16
maxkhk@maxkhk-X550DP:~/anaconda$
I searched for a Google bug but found nothing with respect to caffe.
