Share iOS extension not working

I have a sharing extension that allows users to download videos directly from other applications (like photos). It has a user view (not SLComposeServiceViewController).

It worked fine, but currently I have a strange problem that the share extension will not appear without any reason in particular. I tried to stop at methods viewDidLoadand viewWillAppear. But these methods are not called. Nothing seems to happen when I click the application icon in the shared sheet.

The only time I can get it to work is to clean up the project and run it. Has anyone encountered such a problem before? And any suggestion, what could be the reason? Thanks in advance.

I, but without any details about what your code looks like and what you do there, it's hard to say what exactly is the reason.

What I can say is that you had a crash on startup, it is not "nothing happened." The list of reasons is too wide, so briefly:

  • check your topics
  • check existing objects
  • check for possible buggy spots
  • edit / unsubscribe correctly for NSNotificationCenter events
  • , , completeRequestReturningItems, , - , , , .
