I asked the same question on the Google Developers Forum, looking for a clear direction for it.
I am working on a project to get the meaning of an English word. The Google search engine provides comprehensive results. I would like to get these results (meaning of words, synonyms, sound source from gstatic, usage chart from 1800, etc.) as input for my program for further processing. Is the user search engine open API or does Google have an explicit API for this? I used to think about screen scripting, but it would be much easier if Google provided an API for this.
