Was there a Google update or a change in any format for ordering Id in in-app purchases? Recently, I have 2 order IDs in the format GPA.1234-5678-9876-5432-12345.

This Google change means you cannot just check orderId to see if the payment is valid or fake.

You must follow the signature verification procedure as documented here .
