PHPStorm - method not found in object class

Question

I have a project that I'm working on, and I just switched to PHPStorm because it starts to get big and I need refactoring tools. I noticed that since variables are not declared as types (for example, they are in Java), PHPStorm does not know where to look for method calls for variable names. Here is my code.
