I installed laravel homestead on two other machines and have never seen this problem before. I searched and searched, implemented many suggested fixes, and nothing works for me.
I installed a virtual box and a tramp, and I was stuck in the first hurdle:
vagrant box add laravel/homestead
returns the following error:
I installed curl.exe with all the dll files I could find and the certificate package file in my environment path.
Curl is definitely installed, but I'm not trying anything to work. Do I need a certificate from the destination site?
Other information that may be helpful:
- Recently, a clean installation of windows 8.1 was done because my new Lenovo laptop was full of adaware.
