Cannot find segments without identifiers

I have a warning in Xcode 6 and 7 that says:

"Segments initiated directly from the view manager must have an identifier"

However, when I look through ALL the sections in the storyboard, they all have identifiers, and I call them programmatically. This is not a trial plug by any means - the application builds and is fully usable. I just don't like the warnings.

There are several related questions, such as one , but this is not the problem that I see.

Are there places that can hide hidden scenes? Or the main list of topics that I can look at?

In my case, I could not find segue without an identifier, even when I was looking for the source code for the storyboard (thanks @matt). What I did to remove the warning:

  • From the top menu, select "Product"> "Clear"
  • In the top menu, go to Product> Alt + Clean (to clear the build folder)
