Observe change detection, but output does not change

I have the following gulpfile

The problem is that it gulp browserifyworks just fine. However, it gulp browserify-watchdetects changes, but the output is never updated.

What am I doing wrong?

Everything seemed to be in order, my IDE, Webstorm, cached the file. When I looked at the actual file on the box, everything was in order.

I encountered the same watchify errors when detecting file changes (both with gulp and grunt). CLI monitors the work as expected. For instance:

watchify ./src/app.js -t babelify --outfile ./build/bundle.js -v
