I am going to deploy my C # MVC AspNet Identity site for production, and I am concerned that the password hash in db may be specific to the machine on which it is created (for example, it depends on the machine key).
Note that this is an implementation outside of ASP.NET MVC according to the Visual Studio 2013 template.
It's too late for me to switch to another authentication provider. Is it safe to transfer my database and web server to another machine, or will all existing users stop working?
