I am just starting Android development and creating Android Studio on my mac. (Following the instructions here )
While trying to run a simple hello world application and trying to explore my path around the IDE, I noticed that the “Android device monitor” is disabled. Any ideas how I can fix this? This should be important when debugging applications, hence the question.
I am not sure what other information may be important for this issue. I made a few changes to the SDK manager, but they just installed more components on top of what was already installed.
