Yahoo webmail removes certain inline email styles

Question

Yahoo web mail (mail.yahoo.com) removes these inline styles, but retains things like color and padding.

text-decoration
font-size
border-radius
text-align
font-family

Any idea why they are intentionally deleted?

Example:

<span style="font-size:30px;">Hello</span>

becomes:

<span style>Hello</span>

Inconsistent developers or uncompetitive management

To be honest, not all developers are created the same way, and even if the developer responsible for something is competent and will never do something so seductive of his own free will, there are almost always different levels of control.
