Android - Connect to device with adb over wifi

Context: Nexus 7 Android device (not rooted), Android Studio, Mac OS Yosemite 10.10 Switching between Eclipse and Android studio seems to have caused this problem, but I don’t know how to recover it. All attempts are given below after completing Eclipse and rebooting the computer and device.

We saw quite a lot of S.O. but none of them solves the intermittent problem the terrible "useful" message "failed to connect to 192.168.xx.xx"

It will work successfully, sometimes the “pop” cannot connect via wireless connection. One suggestion I saw was to disconnect USB after the adb tcpip 5555 command. This worked for me for a while. But not now!

Also tried rebooting (computer and device ... it helped earlier)

Tried to connect adb tcpip 7612 to this other port of another port. It gives me either "inability to connect to 192.168.xx.xx: 5555" OR 'failed to connect to 192.168.xx.xx: 7612: 7612'

Android docs offer adb kill-server. And repeat the steps, Anyway, get a "useful" message "cannot connect to 192.168.0.4"

I tried to indicate that Nexus is using wireless from the Nexus itself (using the terminal application), although I'm not sure if these commands affect it because the device is not deployed. setprop service.adb.tcp.port 5555 stop adbd start adbd

Any help in determining what causes the intermittent nature of this connection would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Although my computer and my Android device were connected to the same Wi-Fi, it did not work, but it worked 1-. Get the ip of your phone, for example, 192.xxx.xx.x 2-. Go to the directory where you installed adb as (D: \ Sdk \ platform-tools) 3- Open cmd in the directory where you are 4- Write adb connect 192.xxx.xx.x: 5555 and it will show a message like Solution Enjoy ...
