When I start the cucumber, I get the following messages:

Warning: you should require 'minitest/autorun' instead.
Warning: or add 'gem "minitest"' before 'require "minitest/autorun"'

Based on a similar stack exchange question, I have the following in `features \ support \ env.rb ':
require 'minitest'
module MiniTestAssertions
def self.extended(base)
base.extend(MiniTest::Assertions)
base.assertions = 0
end
attr_accessor :assertions
end
World(MiniTestAssertions)
What is my next step to work cucumber?
Edit:
I tried to run the cucumber in a completely empty directory (expecting to get a warning that the functions were not defined), but get the exact same message: a warning about minitest, and then an error about undefined method '_run_suite'. Evertyhing, which I can find on the Internet about this, either refers to Rails (which I do not use), or says that this is an old problem that has been fixed, so I am completely stuck. :(
