Is there a way to get the middle of the way from the Overpass API?

I am trying to import several methods and nodes from OSM. But I do not want to receive Paths as a method with different nodes, only in the middle of the path.

In my case, all the paths are the area (parks, parking, etc.), and I need only one point - the middle of the area. I could calculate this after the request, but maybe a more elegant way?
