Jenkins JAVA_HOME 7 is not like the JDK directory

I have jenkins installed on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS. I am trying to configure jdk, and when I enter / usr / lib / jvm / java -7-openjdk-amd64 in the JAVA_HOME field, Jenkins complains that it does not look like the JDK directory.
Does anyone know what might cause this?

The problem is the place you specify is JRE not JDK (see comments, since it does not have javac), and we could not find the javacone installed on the system, so just load the fresh JDK and set the JAVA_HOME item there
