On my website, I want to make some features available after a person shares my link on Facebook or Twitter, etc. Therefore, the idea is to ask the visitor to share my link. Then after they shared the link to create cookies for them. Then I have to check the specified cookie to determine if they have access.
My question is , how do I know if a person has shared? . So say the person clicks the Facebook button. Then maybe he should log in to Facebook. After the actual sharing is done, what feedback do I get so that I can create cookies?
If all this can be done in javascript and html, that would be great, but in case the server needs to be involved, I use python. Again, I know how to write my code about setting cookies and asking someone to share on a social network. The only thing I do not know is how do I get feedback that the exchange really took place?
