I used gh-pages to build on a static site, and the server worked amazingly for me throughout the build!
Although it seems like I had a problem sending my HTML web form to my email via PHP code. When I send gh-pages to the server, I get this error message saying "405 not allowed ngix". I delved into finding the answer to this question. At first, I found that there were a few minor errors in my code that I fixed. Then I again sent to the server with the correct code and still received the same message from the gh-pages server. "405 is not allowed by ngix", it led me to think that the gh-pages server does not support any PHP code.
I found some info about SO about a gh-pages server that doesn't support PHP. How to publish .php page instead of .html on github to demonstrate some php content?
