The GET request is designed to test the network, and it is configured to deliberately wait 15 minutes in the IIS process before responding.
When a request is issued in Chrome without Fiddler, it completes successfully.
However, with Fiddler this is usually 5 or 10 minutes. When replaying from Fiddler, this is 5 minutes (only a few tests, therefore not final).

Why 504 only occurs when starting Fiddler. Is this a Fiddler that gives retry logic - does the browser really see a connection with a broken / reset?
