I have a wpf clickonce application that has a set of file associations.
Everything works fine during installation and upgrade, with the exception of windows 8.1
When the clickonce application is updated in Windows 8.1, file association is terminated each time. In fact, the file association seems to be installed in the old clickonce installation folder, which no longer exists. In other versions of Windows, this problem never occurs.
Here are a few other things that I noticed after updating clickonce in Windows 8.1: - the program cannot be found using the search function "- the program is not listed in the Add / Remove Programs list
Why did I encounter these problems only in Windows 8.1?
How can this problem be fixed automatically?
