Session idle timeout poll

Question

I use Single Sign for all applications in Tomcat. My requirement here, I have to poll the status of the transaction, which should be obtained from the back. But this also should not affect the session timeout.

Can anyone suggest if something can be done?

I do not know if there is a standard way to do this. If not, you can write a filter.

In the filter, ignore requests that are not taken into account (for example, your survey request).
