Select a few words in the text box, for example, block selection

Question

Can I select a block of text in a text box?

if i have text

abcd
efgh
ijkl

I want to choose:

 bc
 fg
 jk

But you can only choose

 bc
efgh
ijk

I find the starting index (from where I want to start the selection) length, the last index (possiton character I want to go), the line in witch is the first and last index, but I can not find a way to override the select method and select only the block.

Is it possible to override it?

As far as I know, the standard TextBox in Windows Forms does not support this choice.
You might be lucky with a special control (but I don't know which of them support it).
