What is the difference between using
<mirrorOf>central</mirrorOf>
and
<mirrorOf>*</mirrorOf>
We have a Nexus server, whose proxy server is connected to the Maven public repository, and with the help of "*" instead of the "central" one downloads some files, but not all.
Reading http://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-mirror-settings.html doesnβt suggest what might cause this?
says that if the request is sent to search for the maven central repository in the mirror instead
Where
says for any download request from any repository in this mirror repository
