Does the same VBO use for two objects in order?

Let's say if I have several objects of the same object, and I want to display them in different places. Can I use the same VBO (to save RAM), but change the matrices that are sent to Shader? Or is it wrong?

This is good and recommended; most people do this to avoid duplicating data in memory, which is useless. There is no penalty for this.
