Android Open Source License

We have an Android app and some third-party licenses are used. What is the best place to include these licenses in the app? On iOS, we include it in the installation kit, but I'm not sure if this is the best place for Android.

thanks for the help

In my applications, I usually place the .txt file with the license in the assets directory . Read the Github page (I usually use the library with github) about licensing. Notify the original creator of the use of his library. Then, if the product belongs to the client, I will ask you to include the author in the link in the about section (if any). In my own applications, I will include the link and the author in the about section somewhere in my application.

Here is a step by step:

  • Upload the library to your host development system.

  • Create a new folder, libs, in Eclipse/Android project.

  • libs Import -> General -> File System, Next, , (.. ).

  • "", ( ) , JAR . ().

  • , Build Path -> Configure Build Path, Libraries tab, JARs..., JAR libs . (, , , JAR Android.)

5 , lib . , , .
