SQL Server 2014 Upgrade Advisor does not work

I installed SQL Server 2014 Enterprise on a virtual machine and am trying to install an upgrade advisor.

The directions show that I should start SqlUA.msi, but I get the following error:

Installation missing prerequisites:

Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Transact-SQL-ScriptDom that is not installed using the Upgrade Advisor Setup. To continue, install SQL Server 2014 Transact-SQL ScriptDom from the hyperlink below, and then run the Advisor Setup again:

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=296473 .

It just leads me to the download page. There is no ScriptDom file, but further search showed me that they mean SQLDOM. So I installed SQLDOM.msi from this page above and received the following error:

Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Transact-SQL-ScriptDom

Installing Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Transact-SQL-ScriptDom failed because a higher version already exists on the machine. To continue, uninstall the higher version and run the Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Transact-SQL ScriptDom program again.

Well, that was pretty confusing. At first they tell me that I do not have it, then they tell me that I'm trying to install an older version. I rebooted the VM and my local laptop with a bunch, but without help. Microsoft support reported that they do not support the upgrade advisor.

The file Eng_Microsoft_SQLServer_TransactSql_ScriptDom_dll_32 could not be installed because the file could not be found in the redist.cab cabinet file. It could, it could indicate a network error, an error message from the installation media, or a problem with this package.
